eTter Universal Stakeholder Charter
Universal Employment Equality
All employees, no matter where they are employed around the world by eTter shall be afforded the same employment rights, equal opportunity and entitlements for sick leave, annual leave, long service leave and health benefits on terms which meet the higher standard of either Australia or the country in which the employee is engaged.
All employees, no matter what role, must have a salary that is defined by the UN as a Minimum Living Wage for that nation plus at least 20% (“Minimum Wage”), taking into consideration local laws, customs and cultural sensitivities.
All employees should receive a salary not less than what is considered commensurate with the role that they are undertaking, regardless of the title they were employed under, in the country where they are employed and that no conditions of their employment or remuneration should negatively affect their Minimum Wage.
Where a Bonus scheme exists, after one year of full-time service, all employees, regardless of role, wherever they are employed globally by eTter or AidHub Foundation entities, shall be entitled to participate in the Bonus scheme.
All eTter employees globally are entitled to participate in, on a proportionately equal basis, any Employee Share Ownership Scheme (ESOP) or similar employee share plan which may be established by eTter.
All employees should be afforded the benefit of any other conditions we may consider appropriate which ensures equality and the highest standards globally.
Any Enterprise Bargaining Agreements or individual employment contracts must not mitigate/negate the above standards.
In implementing these principles in any particular country or region consideration must be made for the impact of local laws, customs and cultural sensitivities.
eTter is an initiative of AidHub International Ltd (trading as AidHub Foundation) and as such operates internationally under a Universal Stakeholder Charter (The Charter). The Charter ensures all employees, suppliers, contractors and customers or clients are engaged with or served by eTter at the highests standards globally no matter which country a stakeholder is engaged with eTter or AidHub Foundation (See AidHub.org).
For example, where an employee, contractor, supplier or customer/client engages with eTter in any country, any element of their employee entitlements and protections or fair trading practices are always deemed to be the higher standard of either Australian law or the law of the country in which they are engaged.
Universal Stakeholder Standards
Partners, contractors and suppliers are required to adopt similar universal employment standards and business practices based on terms which support the higher standard of either Australia or the nation in which the party is engaged, such as the Fair Trading Conditions, Consumer Protection and any relevant UN protocols.
The above standards are required to be implemented in any eTter subsidiary, whether majority or wholly owned, and/or operating under any form of Affiliate License Agreement in which eTter has majority management control, and where the brand of eTter or AidHub is used, such standards must be applied.
Code of Conduct
The Board has adopted a code of conduct which sets out the values, commitments, ethical standards and policies of the Company and outlines the standards of conduct expected of the Company's business and people, taking into account the Company's legal and other obligations to its stakeholders.
The Code of Conduct will apply to all Directors, as well as all officers, employees, contractors, consultants, other persons that act on behalf of the Company, and associates of the Company.
Conflicts of Interest
The directors will comply with the law and the company constitution in relation to potential and actual conflicts between the director’s personal interest and the interests of the company. Interests are declared by each director in accordance with the Australian Corporations Act 2001.
Directors will comply with board policy in relation to conflicts of interest, share trading and use of confidential information. In the event of any concerns, a director will seek guidance from the Chairperson.
